Mobility Brace for the Active Dog.
Helps dogs with hip and back pain.

dog wears hip and back support brace

The Mobility Brace provides support and compression to the joints and muscles in the hips and lower back. Appropriate for active dogs of all ages who suffer from arthritis, mild to moderate hip dysplasia, decreased endurance during activity, hip pain, low back pain or weakness and back leg limping. The Mobility Brace is suitable for dogs recovering from surgery or injury and older dogs who have difficulty getting around easily.

Like an elbow brace, the support and stability provided by the Mobility Brace helps decrease pain and inflammation while being active.

Note: As with all dog care devices - Check with your veterinarian. This product is not recommended for DM ( Degenerative Mylopethy) .

Designed for dogs of all ages and sizes, the brace is available in small, medium and large. The support has two parts: the neoprene brace and the harness. Since the brace is designed to be used when your dog is active, you can leave the harness on and slip the neoprene brace on and off as needed.

The Harness
The Dog Brace
With the square ring on top (closest to your dog's tail) and the buckle unfastened, place the dog's head through the loop. Apply the left leg brace first by attaching the leg straps around your dog's thigh below the hip joint and above the knee joint. Apply the right side in the same manner.
Insert the front left leg through the shoulder opening
Pull the left and right brace firmly up and slightly forward onto the lower back and Velcro the two braces together.
Bring the free strap behind the left foreleg and snap the buckle together. Use the side adjustments to fit the harness securely Pull the nylon strap (webbing) through the square ring at the base of the harness and Velcro together. The brace should be secure but not binding.
As with anything new, the dog may, at first, find the harness and brace to be awkward and uncomfortable. We suggest you distract them by taking them for a walk or tossing a toy. Before long, the dog will realize that the brace is associated with pain free fun. The harness can be left on all the time.

Testimonials

EDDIE HEATH, DVM, WITH SAM

ALL PETS ANIMAL HOSPITAL
ASHEVILLE, NC

It has been a long time since something as new and innovative as the dog brace has been marketed to aid in the management of Canine Hip Dysplasia. The design provides additional support for the bones which stabilize the joint in a way that helps minimize bone and soft tissue pain. Early trials have been promising.
MARY HART CRAIG, M.D., WITH MAGGIE
DURHAM, NC

I had to stop going on daily walks with my 3-year-old dog Maggie because of her severe hip arthritis. Since using the Dog brace, we are walking up to an hour a day and Maggie is pain-free. I'm so glad to have my time with my dog back!
GAIL HUBBARD WITH MADISON
A GOOD DOG'S LIFE CANINE TRAINING FACILITY
ASHEVILLE, NC

If you look your dog will tell you how they feel. Madison's desire to play hard overrides her ability at times. The dog brace has had a positive effect on what she tells me!
